STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics. By providing STEAM education here at Beacon, we allow students to be creative and give them a chance to learn and apply inquiry skills as they collaborate with others. STEAM fosters engineering and design thinking and helps students master math and science concepts.
Many STEAM jobs go unfilled each year, and women are underrepresented in STEAM fields. Beacon has a mission to bridge this gap with our students. We are preparing them for a STEAM future.
