Beacon College Prep Inc. is incorporated as a non-profit corporation, and has obtained the IRS 501( c )(3) tax exempt status. The Governing Board of Beacon College Prep has no interest in generating a profit or partnering with a for-profit ESP (CMO/EMO), but rather in using any surplus to re-invest into our academic and supplemental programs because we are driven by our mission.

 

The Governing Board is the definitive policy and decision-making body with the responsibility of oversight of the school including but not limited to academic direction, curriculum, compliance, ethical and budgetary functions. Effective boards create the conditions that allow principals – and therefore teachers – to educate children effectively.
